Finally Into The 12s After First Round of Mod Install
Most of the primary information is in my signature.
Stock numbers were run with 686 miles on the OD. First visit to Bradenton Motorsports Park after the installation of mods was last weekend. Typical Florida summer weather - 95 degrees, 1000% humidity and about a 10 mph South headwind. Made 2 passes, the first with no cool down. The 2nd after about a 25 min. cool down.
Torque brake launches went well, starting at 1750 rpm the 1st run, 2000 on the second. No hint of wheel hop or tire spin which says to me that I can probably go up to 2250 rpm or so. Have BMR airbags at the rear and ran with 11 lbs. Will experiment a bit more with those.
With a bit more tweaking and some longer cool down, I think 12.6 ET and 1.7 60' is possible in the Florida heat. Come Oct/Nov hoping for 12.2 - 12.3s. We'll see.
