my car only had 1 bolt holding the engine to the motor mount(with the lt1) on the driver side, i did some measureing on both engines, and from my measurements i can scoot the oldschool motor up and be able to get two bolts on both sides to bolt up. and it should be the same mounting position as the lt1.
am i wrong, i have the engine mounted in the k member now, awaiting on me to drop the car back down and mark everything for clearance. has anyone done this, will it work, is the engine gonna be to far forward? to far back? it looks like its the same.
i measured from the second header bolt hole from the front of the engine to the nearest engine bolt hole.
and the way i got it set up. its the same on both engines.
please someone look at this also and tell me if it will work.
thanks

From what I know and have done, all Chevrolet 350's have had the same motor mounts in most cars from 1968 till like 2002. The Vettes are the exception. We have dropped LT1's in 1980's ElCaminos, but never put the old 350 in a Gen 4 F-body. I don't see why it won't work if you have got everything to line up already. Measure from the mounts to the front on both blocks. That will give you the yes or no..
