SLP Cold Indection Kit question
I'm still 100% stock (except for a STB) and I'm looking at the SLP cold air induction package (SLP lid, cold air induction kit, smooth bellow and K&N filter). I'm debateing over this and the Volant cold air kit.
Not really sure what is best. If I get the SLP kit do I need the cold air induction part of the kit or just the lid and filter? Does anyone have this setup and does it make a difference?
Sorry for the ton of questions. Thanks in advance.

I have an 02 hawk and I installed the Slp mass air, smooth bellow, and slp ram air kit all at once, and i noticed a big difference. Very good combo to start with on a stock car.. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

Re: SLP Cold Indection Kit question
I have the slp cold air,k&n,slp maf,slp boot, and a Mti clear lid. I am very happy with it. I am not sure what kind of weather you get, but I get alot of warm weather here in CA. The Slp kit does not block off the radiator as much as some of the
other kits, which was an overheating heating issue for me. It's a great start for a stock car, like 1Nasty Hawk said.

Re: SLP Cold Indection Kit question
Thanks for the info! It gets well over 100 here for most of the summer so I'll try it and see what happens. I can remove the cold air induction if it starts to overheat and still have the basic free ram air mod left right?
