i took my car to the strip for the first time last weekend.. it's a 98 z28 with 3.23 gears.. ONLY mods is 1 flowmaster, k/n air filter, and tb bypass.. it was so damn packed i only got to run once.. i ran 8.904 @ 82.5mph in the 1/8 mile.. just wondering if that's good, average, or shitty for my car.. i can't wait to start my mods!! by the way it's an automatic and i hit the rev limiter goin into 3rd at the end of the track and my reaction time was .385

8.9 sounds about right for your first time out.
With those mods you should pick up probably .2-.3 in the 1/4...probably .1-.15 in the 1/8th...but unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, the slp cai is the same thing as the free ramair mod....only better.
Try to go on days that others dont, find out what are the hot days for your track and avoid them
Down at HRP fridays are obscene but if I go on a sunday I can run 25 times if I want.
