LS2 knock sensors in an 99 SS with an LS2?

LS2 knock sensors in an 99 SS with an LS2? My LS2 402 doesn't seem like it ever picks up any knock with the LS1 knock sensors. I was wondering If I could put the LS2 knock sensors in it and use EFILive to tell the computer that they are LS2 sensors in order to make them function better than they currently do. Thanks, Brian
