HOW TO GUTT CATS
CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO GUTT MY CATS. I'M A FIRST TIMER AT THIS. WHAT TOOLS DO I NEED, AND WHAT TOOL DO I USE FIRST? THANKS GUYS. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Remove the cats from the manifolds and Y-pipe. It's been a while, but I think the cat-to-manifold studs are 15mm and the cat-to-Y nuts are 13mm. I used a long screw driver to break apart the material inside the cat, then shook out the chuncks. For the last little bit left after shaking, I used my air compressor to blast it out.
It's really very easy.

as long as you dont have a sniffer, you should pass emissions. Here all they do is check to make sure you've got a complete path, headers, cat, cat back of some kind. No sniffers
Ive heard of people pouring gasoline into it, and then lighting it, but i wouldnt recommend that. Just take a long screwdriver and poke it around like its a fire poker. That should work
