Leaking from thermostat..
I just installed a new 160* thermostat on my LS1, brand new seal and brand new housing, and I filled everything up and all of a sudden there is a small leak out of the housing. Im like WTF, you not supposed to put on any RTV or anything that I know of and everything is brand new so why the hell is it leaking? I drained everything again , and about ready to take the thermostat off again. Any ideas?

actually they want you to use RTV gasket stuff in the groove where the O-Ring goes to keep it in place and make a better seal. check installuniversity.com they have a writeup on it.
