i know the previous owner put one in my 02 SS A4. Even in this 105+ degree weather the car stays under 210 on the gauge no matter where or how i am driving and the e-fans barely ever kick on.....dunno, prolly worth it

You'd need to program the fans to come on a lower temperature to see any real effect.

i personally tend to think that it is 60 bucks down the *******... your car doesnt give two ***** if it runs at 190 degrees or 170 degrees

you arent a nitro car trying to squeeze out every last bit of performance that you can

they put the 180degree thermo in there for a reason, leave it

First of all I see that you live in CANADA.Unless you have a programmer to change the setting in the computer,you are going to get your ses light.The car will be running to cool, especially in the winter.But yes a cooler
engine=more power.

To get any results, get it programmed to have your fans run the same temperature. Any hand held programmers/HPtuners/LS1edit/dyno tune will work.
