Default how much drop with 315's?

i plan on getting some 315's for the back (havent yet decided on rim) and was wondering how low i could drop it without having to do anything major. a friend of mine is lowered like 1.5 and i think it looks perfect. im not too terribly concerned with ride quality as long as you can tell it has suspension. and i have access to a fender roller so thats no biggie either. TIA

it all depends on your exact setup, what wheels, offset, backspace, and what kind of tires your running will all be deciding factors for if it will rub or not. usually, when lowered on 315s youll need to roll your fenders, bang in the wheel well, and trim the bumpstops.

ive seen cases where people have to bang alot on the wheel well, and some dont rub at all... even lowered. it mostly depends on the type of tire, a gs-d3 runs almost an inch wider than say a nitto DR of the same size.

I'm lowered 2inches w/ 315 nitto's, and now 315 sumitomos on 17x11 Zr1 wheels. Did the fender lip, a little smashing of the inner fender and cut down the bumpstop. I also run 15x10 prostars at the track w/ a 275/60/15 (28x11.0x15) and they are not even close.

Stance w/ Zr1's

Prostars

awesome, i plan on 17x11 zr1's with gsd3's. and jj_z28, i have that same exhaust, does it scrape a lot being that low? ive scraped mine a couple times at stock height, they were preventable though.

I changed my exhaust this year for the simple fact I put a Lakewood DSL on and the duals where just to low. Now I have an off-road y w/ a dumped 3 bullet from the duals setup. I posted some vids in the multimedia section.
