Dissapointed in my car!
I ran my car at Thundervalley Raceway in Noble, Oklahoma last Friday and I'm really dissapointed in my car. My best run was a 13. 79 @ 101 with 2.1 60'. Reaction time was pretty good at .006.
The thing that I dont get is I ran two years ago with just a catback and was running low 13.7's and trapping 102 or 103. Now I have headers and dual exhaust and I'm running slower? Reaction time was better this time also.
There were a couple of other Trans-ams running 13.8's with one being stock and another having exhaust and a few other things. Could it be the humidity or elevation?

you would have to compare the DA from the last time you ran, it may have been a lot better (cooler/drier/higher baro) then when you ran stock.
Reaction time doesnt mean anything, the clocks dont start until the car moves so you could sit there a minute before you launch and the ET wont change.
Or maybe you need a tune with the headers if you didnt do it..

KP hit the 2 major points I believe.
DA can mean 2-4 tenths between runs without any changes, so you'd need that info to make a decent comparison.
A tune is most likely needed after the exhaust swap.

Depends how bad things are. Witheverything in my sig minus cam, pulley, and tune, I was @ 304 HP. Stock tuning was killing me.
