Ok Ive got $400 on the line. An 06 gsxr 750 vs a 500-530 rwhp FRC m6 with a 250-300 wet shot. He "knows" he is faster and would bet 2k if I asked him. What do you guys think? Should a 750-800 whp vette beat a 750 gsxr? Pending replies I may up the bet

If you go from a low roll (<40) and get traction, you will win
If you go from a high roll (>60) you will destroy him

Saw some video of an 800rwhp Viper going at Busas from a 45 and 75mph roll, and it was tight, with the Viper just edging them out. You should kill the Gixer like Fadi says (if that big *** shot can be put down without breaking something).

what about off the shot

You will beat him, just don't race him from a dig or an ultra slow roll (<40 mph)

Off the shot, this is how the race will go:

2nd gear punch, he will get the jump on you and you will play catch up. Once you get to the top of third you will be even. Once you shift into 4th it is all over for him. From a 70 punch in third, you will destroy him. This is OFF the nitrous, too.

It will be close from a roll on motor but the Vette will still pull, on the spray its going to be so ugly the bike will probably give up.

With that motor and a huge shot that bike will be getting as long as there isnt too much traction issues.

You shouldn't need the shot at all. From a dig he would probably edge you out unless you have a hell of a tire. I would spray like a 100 just in case from whatever you do.

I know a 150 shot on a H/C LS1 RX-7 will take down a Gixxer 1K. It wasn't me.

Um a BUSA is a whole other ball game, thats like trying to compare a V6 camro to the New C6Z06. BUSAs are 1300s and 1000s and 900s are outta most streets car league's unless your car is really really built.

You should be able to walk the 750 on motor, but id spray it anyways.

Haha... A 200 will take a Busa on that same car. Actually takes him harder than you would think... Now I got to go for a ZX-14...

I did beat a new 636 on motor if that helps any, from 60-140.... I should be around 425 on motor. But my car weighs 2950 with me in the car. How does a 636 ninja stack up to a gsxr-750 I wonder? Shouldn't be too much difference.

I agree, you have him beat. I raced one in my old 00' ta with just over 400rwhp and won from a roll. Like the post above, if you race starting from a high speed, you have him destroyed.

They are some nice damn bikes tho!

Yep. I was actually surprised the Viper in the video (on putfile.com) edged out a tuned/pipe Busa from a 40 roll. That 750 is a full second or more slower in the 1/4. Check out Texas Mile and laugh at the results from the last flying mile. One car, then about 10 Busas.

Motor only 550rwhp should get the 750, but a little spray makes it a f-u pull away.

I think your not gonna have a problem.

If he's a skilled rider...you'll be running him down at the 1000ft mark if your running from a dig.

If you roll race him....he will jump out on you if your on motor but, you will indeed run him down.
If you spray him, he'll have no chance.
