Default LS1 Swap Out the Bottom

I am sure on a board like this it has been posted before. But this is my second time doing it and I took pics this time, so I am on a posting bindge(sp?). Its really easy to do it this way and you can set it all up to fit before hand when putting it back in. I did it a little different this time using the cherry picker instead of a bunch of 4x6s. The cherry picker method worked better actually and was less labor intensive. Still a really easy way to do the swap/change in a 4th gen LT1/LS1. Pics-

What part of the car did you attach the cherry picker too in order to lift the front end up?

Also how long does this take you to do?

Looks like a excellent way of doing it....I believe many GM techs take the engine out from the bottom. Very informative. WJ.

Thanks everyone. I attached the chain around the front radiator support with a cloth around it to not scratch it all up. It only takes a couple hours to do it this way(I didnt keep track) I would guess like 4 hours but I wasnt really speeding through it I had all the time in the world. Yes GM says to take it out the bottom, its really really easy trust me. Plus you can setup everything else like exhuast and whatnot outside of teh car and then just slide it back up, hookup the brakes, fuel lines, the 14body bolts, trans brace then drive away. Anyway I gotta run, Later
