Default are all lids the same

well i just bought me a 2000 z28 well its fast but i think it needs to go faster. from what i understand so far a new air lid seems to be the cheapest and best aftermarket mod. so are all the lids the same? whats the best performing ones out there?

those new texas speed and perf' lids are supposedly better flowing than the others. i think that other than that, they are all close enough performance wise that you should consider price and looks. some people say some don't fit well etc . . . do a search and you'll find all kinds of feedback.

have you considered a K&N FIPK? pretty expensive but pretty cool.

good luck
