3 chances to race, and I didnt! this is driving me nuts and I cant get over it..
This past weekend I had 3 chances to street race from a light and I didnt.
Race 1:
a kid driving his dads mercedes.
he was reving and trying to get me to race and I didnt.
Race 2:
A new black hemi charger, again he was revving the engine and I didnt race him
Race 3:
2003 mustang gt, revving the engine, cranked dave mathews music (annoying).
All three cars left the light squeeling tires and I didnt launch or race.
I know I could have smoked all three cars and I really wanted too, but I didnt since I have 2 pending speeding tickets.
since I didnt race those guys, its been eating at me. I hate not racing or worse knowing those douche bags are bragging how they smoked a z28, even though I didnt race...
I keep telling myself, I did the right thing since I dont need another ticket. Also I keep telling myself, just because you can beat someone, it doesnt mean you should always do it. But damn, those tools deserved to be beatin.

I had a guy in a mustang try to race me from one of the busiest intersections in Tinley Park in plain daylight. The guy was a clown... he took off and had to slam on the brakes a block later because there was another red-light.

I think you did the right thing, this just happened to last friday w/ a new mustang gt. I know i would have walked him but i was in a very urban neighborhood. Think of the consequenses racing= lost license, fines , and in my case i need my license for my job so i would lose my job too if i got caught. Its almost like gettinh a dui. There are always better places and times to let loose these machines.

Yeah, I really need to quit falling for people revving wanting to race. I ran a '96 mystic cobra last week at a very buisy intesection after I wooped on him I was like WTF did I just do??? Not cool.

almost as upset as i was sunday. drove out to chicago to pick up some DRs, got them mounted on saturday, drove out to Byron on sunday (called a head and they said it was sunny), get there and it rained 3 times, refunded money and left. sitting around the gas station a Carrera S and a Gallardo pull in, talk to them for a while and decide to follow them, and my buddy (00 TA, lid and full exhaust) stomps the Gallardo, i didnt get a chance traffic showed up

Yeah, most guys that do that drive slower cars anyhow. If you know you can blow their doors off it is not worth the gas. Then you look just as much like a jack *** as they do. You know how fast your car is and that is all that matters. Now when people start talking **** that's when you say "line 'em up for few bills MFer?" And find a nice open straight away. You get people talking **** everywhere. My brother said while I was racing people were saying I could not drive in the stands. But they don't know that the car was having issues that day (shakedown passes afterall) and that I can and have driven the **** out of my car with much less power.

I know what your talking about. I rusty *** 89 suburban that was bearly running, pulled up next to me saturday night. He was reving it and yelling to run him, but I backed off!
