who builds 383 ls1s for cheap but good quality like title says, prefered forged internals, looking to see pricing on these for a friend, looking for shortblocks

You get what you pay for dude, you don't want to skimp too much on a stroker or any forged bottom end for that matter. I would suggest Combination Motorsports, they built my 402 and a few other local members motors, they are awesome to deal with and my motor is running perfect, daily driver as well!

I got my 383 from TSP. I love it so far. I am running a 224 cam at the moment so.....I'm leaving a lot out there. TSP Giant will be going in soon.
