The 6.0L head has the same flow characteristics as the #243 (port volume/design) LS2/LS6 head, that's why so many of us FI guys use them. With a 71cc combustion chamber to drop the compression, and the runner volume, you can't go wrong, especially for as cheap as you can get a set. A lot of guys run the LQ9 heads after shaving them to bump compression because you can get them for so cheap. Camaroextra is right though, with the larger runners, it really is designed for more mid-top end power like the C5 Z06/C6 coupe have. If you've got low gears, running NA, I would run a set of #243's or #317's, depending on displacement. Just my .02.

the car these will be going on has all the normal bolt ons and is a M6 with 4:10's. The cam I was thinking about using with these heads would be something in the 230/230 range. I was just wondering cause I can pick these heads up for about 1500.00 and they have less than 500 miles on them.
