LS2 build status... Well its getting close... Got the front cover (featured in Hot Rod magazine), rear cover, coils, and ASP pully. Now I just need a short block, heads, cam,.... 
Well at least I have a few parts. I need to get my damn tranny in my bike fixed so I can sell it. 
I've already found where I'm getting the new block, and forged rotating assembly, bearings, and rings for $3K shipped!!

A guy I've delt w/ down in CA has a lot of connections. When we talked about 2 months ago he had 27 new LS2 blocks. They are factory blems. Some just need a quick hone and some need to be bored .005-.010 over. $800 shipped. Then Eagle crank, federal mogal mains, clevite rod bearings, carrillo rods, wiseco pistons, and hellfire rings.

They are about $1100 shipped new ($995+s/h at Scoggin Dickey). $750 shipped for this block.
