Default Lowering the oil pan.

Hey guys I have to lower the oil pan so that I can remove the pickup tube bolt on the oil pump.

(I am trying to remove the oil pump.)

Well here is my question:

Do I have to drain the oil before doing this?

sweet! I want to use that oil to brake in my new cam and heads for a few minutes.

then I will swap over to new stuff
