Default Firehawk Hood?

I Got A 98 Ta, I Want To Buy A Firehawk Hood. I Was Seening That On Slp Sight,that For U To Buy That Hood U Need To Change The Bumper Cover On A 99 And Up.whats The Diff. In The 98 And The 99 And Up. Or Was That A Type Eror.

Search function.
You can use the stock Trans Am, or Formula, or Firebird front bumper cover.
They will all simply have to be trimmed to match the hood lines in the front area.

There was a thread about this not too long ago, with photos of both the stock & the Firehawk trimmed area.

There was no official 98 model, that's probably why they start with the 99-up model. And yes, the trimming required for the 98 would be the same as the 99-up.

Not too many photos left in that old thread is there?!? Couple good Superhawk photos.
But look at this 'rough' sketch.
If you mount a Firehawk hood, you'll have to cut the area shown.
