you can, theres a sticky in the auto tranny threads on the conversion. I am interested in doing the same thing. you just need the tranny, bell housing, clutch and components, and new pcm i think

edit: i know of a website with used and new T56s but its not a sponsor so i cant post the link. i can pm it to you though

Your definantly in the wrong forum, but on the topic of trans swaps I sold my entire 6 speed setup (Trans, Clutch pedal, Hydrolics, shifter, bell housing, etc) to a guy on here for about $1000 + shipping, and put a TH400 3 speed into my car, so yes it can be done, but be prepared to spend about $2k - you should not need a new PCM to switch to a manual from what I understand.

[QUOTE= you should not need a new PCM to switch to a manual from what I understand.[/QUOTE]

the only reason i added that is becuase i knew a kid who did a tranny swap in a mustang and i think he said he needed a new pcm becuase the pcm was thinking the car still had an automatic or something to that nature. i wasnt 100% sure on the pcm part. i was just going by what i was told, not personal experience.
