Default O2 extensions issue, Pacesetters (video)

I got my Pacesetters LTs from SpeedInc, and installed it today. Haven't got my Y-pipe yet... UPS claims they can't find it. Let's see tomorrow.

In this Pacesetters kit I got some white wire, to extend the O2s.

Does the Pacesetter kit involves cutting wires for the O2s?
Anyway I cut the O2s and extended it almost 12" and fitted the O2s and just fired it up for a couple of seconds, steady RPM @ about 1000rpm.

Am I wrong with the O2 extensions in the Pacesetters kit requires cutting the wires??

Finally, my install took about 8-9 hours, and it was easy. Fun to do when you have a lift and the right tools

This is a video on the start-up with open headers

Yes those wires and butt-splices are for extending the O2 harnesses. If you did it and it works great, good job. Most people just buy the plug-n-play extensions so they don't have to cut/splice anything. Cutting could become problematic if you don't do it properly.

you'd get a maint req'd light if you had a problem. But if you have an ORY then you will throw codes anyway. The only way to tell is to read the codes when the computer throws em.

Ok. I'll put on an ORY tomorrow. But I'll have O2 sims, so then if I don't get any code, I'll be alright?
