Default Noob tune question

Aright guys im not gonna lie, i dont really know how tuning the car works. The speed shop by me (Speed, Inc) is installing some longtubes in 2 days and the basic tune is included. Here comes the rookie question.

Does it matter what catback i have on when they tune it. For ex: if they tune it with the cutout open, and then i close it and it goes strait back to hooker catback, will the car react differently? Like will it be used to the change? or is it just like a very minor change and i shouldnt even worry about it?

If this doesnt make sense, just ask. i tried explaining the best i could.

On a sidenote, when i race...should i open the cutout or flow it through the catback? Im just questioning if it needs that bit of backpressure to perform better.

Thanks

No it's not going to affect the tune. Race with it open for a little more power and maby scare the **** out of the competition.

Won't matter. Now if you have the A/F change drastically then you might be hurting. But that will not happen with headers and catback.
