Hey Guys,

Ive got my lenses pulled off my headlights and will be putting them back on tommorow after I do the whistler mod.

My question is: the original rubber grey stuff that sealed the lens around the edge is still on there. Should I remove all of it?

I ask because it will be visible when the lens is put back on, especially against the new black finish. But I dont know if I rip it all off if the lens wont sit right and the rtv sealant wont be enough to completely seal it.

Yes, remove every single bit of it that you can possibly see.

Otherwise it will do like mine did and you'll see all of the old gray sealant contrasting against the new black housing.
