Default Turbo & 6.0L heads

What kind of hp/tq differences are we talking on the setup in my sig with stock #317 heads, my heads in current form (with blended bowls and runners, and 2.02/1.575" stainless valves), and the same heads flowing 300cfm @ .600"? Don't have much experience with turbocharged engines and ported heads. Stock/My current setup/300CFM 6.0L heads, HP/TQ difference @ 15-16# boost.

Wow... No one has ANY input on this topic? Stock 6.0L heads vs bowl blended with 2.02/1.575 valves, vs 300cfm 6.0L heads?!

I have my own car with stock 6.0 317 heads, stock cam....and another customer car with cnc ported 317 heads(309 cfm @600), on a stock short block with a z06 cam. Both run my rear mount turbo kit, similar but not identical. The hp difference is not great, about 20 whp but the rpm range id significant. My stocker runs out at 5500-5800, in part due to the stock cam (not z06) but the other runs easly to 7000 with the z06 cam though.

I test, cause its my business, given the choice I would prefer the 300cfm 317 head with zo6 cam or similar. I will probably sell my car and move onto the next project other then go to ported heads at this point and a cam swap.

Cool, thanks for the info. The 224/220 @ .050 and .581/.581 on a 116LSA should work good with the turbo, but wanting to get around 6500-7000 rpm. Just wondering if with as much boost as I'm planning on running it's going to make THAT big of a difference to make it worthwhile.

I got it from spellbound on norcal-ls1.com. The cam is made by MTI, you can check it out just about anywhere. Sounds a hair choppy, but for the most part stock, no potatoe potatoe potatoe or tater tot tater tot tater tot sound. Were you trying to find a cam like it?
