I am about to need new tires. I have been running bfg gforce kdw's(old tread). I am thinking about either getting the new tread or maybe some other good looking tread. I am not as worried about hooking....not going to hook on street tires anyway. looking for some suggestions

I just bought the new Toyo Proxes T1-R and they are very nice. Great traction, quiet, great treadwear number 280 and comes in a lot of sizes. I use 265/40/17 front with 295/35/18 rear. If you are on stock rims I don't think they make a 275/40/17 not sure though. Goodyear GSD-3 are real nice tires also.

goodyear gsd-3's are probably the best looking tread and the best street tire. the bfg kdws new style is nice also.

i love the new BFG's they dont make them in a 275/40/17 though last time i checked, only in the old trad design

Go with the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD-3's you won't regret it.

GSD3 will hook and look good. But have to pay the money for them.
