Default What's better for ram air hood?

Can I get some adivce on what would give me more power. I have a 2000TA and have a ram air hood on the way. Right now I am running a slp lid and a k&N filter. Would it be better to get like a volant or something else that will seal on the hood? I have done some searching and have gotten mixed advice some say it is worth it and others say it isn't worth the extra money.

A Volant CAI with a WS6 style hood works. Itd be even better if you had the BGRA with it so the air gets in better.

I was checking out the Volant. You can get them on Ebay for just under $300. They look sweet with dual conical filters! They look like they would work pretty good because it seals the the area with the filters from the rest of the engine bay.
