Default sweet thunder or magnaflow for td's

what's up guys,
i am planning on doing a true dual setup, and have narrowed it down to hooker lts, a flowmaster crossover H pipe, and either sweet thunder or magnaflow mufflers. i'm looking for something that will be relatively tame when i'm not on it, but will open up at wot. drone is also an issue, as i do quite a bit of highway driving. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The magnaflows will be smoother and probably a little quieter.

The sweet thunders will be raspier and louder.

Based on your needs, I'd say magnaflow.

My friend is running TD with the Sweet thunders and it dump before the axle. It extreamly load and rattles everything from the dash to the counsle. He fixed the counsle by putting a leather boot where the auto has the plastic plates at the base of the shifter. He likes it, but hardly drives it.

I think sweet thunders will sound better (still waiting till I can afford to swap some onot my setup), but if drone and volume are concerns they are not for you.

True duals with a crossover will not rasp, no matter the muffler.

They will also be pretty loud.

I would try the magnaflows.

I have the ST and love them....however they are anything but tame! When they were dumped there was no rasp and a little drone on the highway. Now that they are out the back, no drone at all. If you are running out the back, then I'd say ST. If you are running dumped, Magnaflows. And yes, you will have rattles if dumped with the ST. Lots of rattles. But damn it sounds so good .
