Shift Solenoid Stuck On
I have the code 0757 P0757 (Shift Solenoid B Stuck On) How bad of problem is this? Can I drive it for a few days without destroying the tranny? How big of a job is it to fix?
Thanks for the help.

Not a big deal, went thru this after my converter intall a few months ago. Did you just have a stall put in? You will have to drop the tranny pan and the silenoids will be in there. I wanna say they are $30 a piece. Mine had the 1-2 shift silenoid failure. I had P0751 and PO757. I drove mine for a week and was OK, just a big pain in the ***.

I got the same code shortly after I put my stall in, but the trans shifted just fine, so I didn't worry about it. I've been driving it with the SES light in for about 6 months now with no problems.

I got that message a couple weeks ago. My '01 WS6 has been driving fine, haven't noticed any problems with the transmission. That being said it probably wouldn't hurt anything if you changed them though.

If you recently put in a stall, it's the computer having problems with the non-stock convertor. You'll just need to get the coded turned off in the computer. If you haven't recently installed a converter or still have a stock converter....have fun changing the solenoids. (It's not too hard from what people say.)
