tires on rims

what size tire do you put on an 11" wide rim tire rack suggests a 275 40 17 for the tt2 11" wide i thought the car came stock with 275 40 17 on a 9" wide rim? i'm lost

295, 305, 315 possible 325 those are my suggestions. The 275's will be streched and they will loose strength in the sidewalls.

where would i find these sizes i can't find anythign bigger than 285 at tire rack

go straight to BFG or Nitto, they should be able to hook you up
