Default YANK SS4000 Torque Converter GREAT SHAPE!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Selling my Yank SS4000 Torque Converter from my 2001 C5. Has only been on the Car about 9 months and I never drive my car during the week. It has only 20,000 total miles on it and this converter has only been raced at the strip maybe 10-15 runs and has been on the car 1,800 miles. I don't dog my car all the time either. My car is 6 years old, so the mileage speaks for my driving habits.

My Yank SS4000 works perfectly and has no issues at ALL and Dave at Yank said it will be just as new. He said if they restalled it they wouldn't even change the components since they still new, they would just change the stall. I was going to get it restalled, but it is easier and cheaper to just sell mine and buy a new one vs. sending it in, paying $300, waiting 2 weeks while my car is apart in a shop, and all the wait time etc etc.

So I will just sell it and losse my $$. I paid a lot more for it, like $895 Plus Shipping, it was almost $1,000!
Now Yank sells without dealers so they lowered their prices which is bad for me and good for you.

The SS4000 is new $740 shipped from Yank. It is $675, plus $50 shipping + $15 core charge. I just spoke to Dave at Yank today.

This is a 4000 stall but it really tight because it has a 2.6 STR, so for a 4,000 stall there is none tighter and I got 1.58 60's several times.

It is on my car but will be out in a week or so.

$450 shipped and I guarentee it to work perfectly or your money back. Been on forum 6 years so you can trust me!!

Located in Dallas

Thanks

Gary

Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the higher the STR the harder it hit the tires or the looser the converter?

It will hit the tires harder and give a tighter feel.

Giys, I bet this ONLY fits in a C Corvette. Yank would know for sure, but I am 99% sure that is the case.
