Default Strange problem, all advice appreciated

94 Z28 M6; it shifts just fine when driving regularly, no grinding no noises, no problems. Twice I've experienced a strange problem when applying anywhere from 1/2-to-3/4 throttle (once in 3rd, once in 4th) where it seems that there is a drop-off in power to the transmission; in other words, the engine is revving, but there is no forward movement proportionate to the revs. Any information is appreciated.

Thx...

Sounds like a slipping clutch.
