Anyone running a small stall like 2,600, 2,800 or 3,000 and if so why?

Ok, I'll be first. Flame suit on and properly adjusted. I went with the TCI 3000/2.2; first, because 95% of my driving is in town and I didn't want to daily drive something that felt loose. Second, because the 4300-4400 shift extension puts it right at peak torque on upshifts. BTW, my buddy has a Yank SS3200/2.1 and they feel pretty much identical.

I'm running an small and tight stall, probably a 2600. The reason is I have 2.75 gears. My first stall was too loose at 3400 with 3.50 gears and I was flashing it to 5500 when boost came up. The new stall only falshes to 4500. I also couldn't tollerate the other stall being as loose as it was for daily driving. Since most of you guys have lockup it's not as big of an issue. I can launch off the foot brake at 3500 if I had good tires.
If I ever get a N/A auto car again i'd put a vig 2800 in it because that fits what I like in a car much better. I can't tollerate a large stall.

4mula on here has a TCI SF3000. His ET's are identical to mine (in sig), all the rest of our mods are the same (including the cam). His car is more enjoyable than mine to drive and he spins less on the street than I do. Only real difference is that he's on a 16 inch Nitto with a lighter Formula as opposed to my SS with 17's and a little more hefty.
From a rolling punch I get him slightly though.
