Default why cant i ask a ? regarding a sponsor sale?

i tried to make a request to see if any sponsors were going to have a sale on an item that i want to buy, and it says that i am restricted and cannot submit a new thread in the sponsor sale request forum. i read all the guidelines, and none apply to me.... just curious seeing as i want to buy an item before i come home on leave, thanks.

Hm, it's sounding like the permissions got messed up for that forum. Everybody should be able to post there.

The permissions look to be set correctly. Is this issue still happening?
