Default Ram Powergrip is slipping

well we went to the track toda and i did really good i was hittin 12.9's with 1.9 60'. But anyways on my way home i noticed my ram powergrip (non hd)started slipping in 6th gear when i punched it and the whole jazz. I am pissed i got this clutch at the end of april and here it is 4 months later and its slippin, this is the first time its been to the track!...

Any ways what should i do should i even try and mess w/ my warranty through GM, cus there is a whole in the top of my bellhousing from my old clutch that they caused that i need to go get replaced and should i just use that as an excuse and try to haggle with them.

Or just call Ram and hope they will send me a new clutch.

/rant

Any input would be good, thanks guys.

definately go with the HD next time.as far as gm working with you on it good luck, they know what we do with these cars and the HATE doing warranty work and will find any reason to not do it!however it is always worth a shot you may get a cool service writer, never know.

If you're wanting a drag strip clutch with hard engagement, get the ram hd.If you want smooth engagement with still stout durability, buy the ls7 clutch.I had the ram hd on my old ws6,it took the abuse, but not a real smooth clutch, which is to be expected I guess. In my opinion,if you're not a professional dragger, buy the ls7 to have stock -like drivability.

The Ram HD is not the smoothest clutch but it works-I'm very happy with it.
