Default Do i have to many miles too....

Add a stall converter? I bought my car from a single femal, original owner and all GM service records with no major repairs ever being done to it. Car feels strong, runs great. I bought it with 87000 and now sit around 95000. I installed a shift kit and changed fluids/filter. Additionally i rebuilt the rear end with an Auburn posi and 3.73 gears. which stall would be best for a daily driver and my gear combo? Down the line i plan on adding a cam similar to the Cheatr cam by Thunder racing. I think the specs are 214/230with 117lsa.

Any recommendations will help. Thanks!

Those are quite a few mile on the original trans. You can try to do a stall but chances are the trans will go out shortly after. It would be best to do the trans and stall at the same time. It is a hard to say due to the amount of miles on the unit. Good luck,Vince.
