help with kumho tires...
So i am looking for tires to put on 17" z06 replicas, and i found these kumho tires on tire rack... they are like half the price of the other tires this size and i was wondering if anyone can tell me why? Is it worth it to get a more expensive tire, or are these good? I read they are too hard to autocross, but they gotta be better than the yokohama's i'm on now.

The only issues I've had with Kumho's are that they make your car sound like a 4x4 when they get worn a bit. I have the ASX's on my car now with about 12,000 miles on them. The fronts are like new... This is the second set of Kumhos I've had. I'd but them again.

I have the supra 712's on the front of my car. I just changed out the old fronts that were also 712's they had close to if not more than 50000 miles on them. These fronts have 25-30000 and still look good. DO NOT get the Riken Raptor if you planon going around any corners. the side wall is very weak. It feels like the tire flexes and then goes around the corner. Very unpredicatable.
