just needing a little help for a friend

ok i have a friend who just picked up her z and she says after she first takes off between 1-2-3-4 gear there is a thud thud thud sound but after she stops and takes off again it goes away....what could this be ..thanks

If it's "thudding" when she's shifting it could be a loose torque arm, loose trans mount, loose torque arm mount.... I don't know why it would go away after the first time she takes off, but those are the most likely culprits.
