Painted intake

How much is a good price for someone to paint an intake? Keep in mind it's an LT1 so they'll have to prep the metal.

If I were doing it, probably in the $125-150 range. That's compared to $200 for an LS1 composite intake. Metal is much easier to prep than plastic.
