Default How many miles do you have on your Tq convertr..?

and when does it start to go bad? I think mine is about shot...
Approx. 90-100K on it.. Heads/Cam 90/90...

BTW.. it's a Yank SY 3500...

About time for a new one? My tranny is starting to slip in 2nd-3rd...

getting ready to do a Rock On Level 4 soon...

would you suggest a new converter?

Wow that's a lot of miles on that verter! I'd at least send it to Yank to be freshened up before sticking it in a brand new tranny.

Converters do not go bad due to mileage, the TCC clutch material may, but nothing else. If you are happy with your converter, I would have Yank rebuild or at the very least go over it for you. Typically when the trans starts to fail, it contaminates the converter, which people tend to falsely accuse.

33k miles on my vig, had it inspected by PI about 6k miles ago.
