Default painting intake manifold questions

is it hard to remove?
anything i should know before removal?
how much sanding should i expect?
how long should this take to sand?

In order:

No

Make sure the brake booster line isn't wrapped around your oil pressure sender (and DON'T yank it out and brake it like I did)

I didn't do any sanding, just sprayed enough paint on it that even the numbers are almost non-existent

I bought a LS6 intake for mine (since it didn't come with one). I've been sanding on it the last few days. If you want to sand it smooth expect to spend a little time. I have about a quarter of it done and i figure it will take a week or two to finish sanding. I'm sure it could be done a little faster i'm just doing it on my spare time.
