Tranny rebuild. Hey guys & gals,
I was wondering how hard it would be to rebuild a 700r4, me and my buddy put one in his c10 from a junk yard about 2 years ago.. and its all of a sudden just taking forever to get into drive, shifts are really long and sluggish...
My question do you think I can rebuild a tranny by myself? How hard is it? I've taken trannys apart before just for fun...but never put one back together.

Hey a manual to go by and read everything carefully , purchase a transmission spring compresser tool of a snap on truck and some good snap ring pliers and a seal installer or some feeler guages and with some time and alotta patience you should be able to do it
