Default One more time before my turbo gets here

Been a long road and I had 3 rod bearings fail on my motor after only 550 miles on it. So I took it back to the person who built it and they honored there workmanship and got the motor back to me within 15 days. Which wasnt too bad but I am really tired of working on the car. The good part is I have a 76GTS coming my way for the car It will be a air to air setup and be able to produce 900+ RWHP Should be 4 weeks out Here are the pics from last night. I am going to break in this motor on my blower kit then the new owner will have the $ for it in a couple of weeks and its gone. Took me about 10 hrs from start to finish taking alot of breaks I know the headers are rusty LOL. But I wont need them with the turbo kit and 4L80 Time to go put it in the car

Um To seat the rings under normal operating conditions. I talked to alot of builders about this and they agree. I think gold dust builds engines for LME and he also told me thats the best way. Others might view it differently but thats my .02

Ed I am going to give the person who wants to buy it the time frame he said he needs. If I have not been paid by then I will contact you via PM.

Looks good.

You can break in a motor on boost, just have to be carefull. We build the motor's tight for this reason. If the bearings are loose it will eat them pretty quickly on breakin.

Thats what we found anyway's

Thanks. Im not all about the bling anymore. I would have went all out on it looking really nice powder coated and **** like that. Im about putting down a nice time @ the drag strip. Im shooting for low 10's with this. Yea I hear you on the motor break in. I dont plan to get on it @ all untill I get like 500 to 700 miles on it this time. I am going to drive it around town and baby it untill then. I have the 2 bar SD down to were it is very drivable. The only part of the tune that wasnt worked out was the AC. But Ill adjust that no problem I like how the decay's in SD park the idle exactly where I tell it.
