Default Pick my cam, I know what i want tell me how to get it

Ive been through so many cam latetly im just not sure of which one i want, im looking at the F14 and the Torquer 2 right now but im not sure if they will turn out to be what i want. Here are my goals

-A mix of both peak power and low RPM power
-A cam that will give me as much TORQUE as possible
-I dont want somthing that spins to 7000K RPM, because i dont want to live in high RPM's
-I want my power band to come in a little below 3K RPM's

The car will not be taken to the track often so i mostly want somthing that will be fun to drive on the streets. I want to get as much out of the car as i can but it to have decnet street manners (shouldn't be a problem since i want power down low anyways)

I would pick the F14, or the MS3 or 4. Yes, they have larger lift, but not ridiculous duration like that T-rex. How was the driveability with that and the 6?

Try some high compression heads and a little cam. Mine makes great power all the way to 6600.

I was thinking the same thing.

Those Cams are big,you can get a better midrange from a smaller Cam--better average power.

I keep going back and forth on wanting to switch to a monster cam setup, but then I drive mine to the store and fall in love all over again... again.
If you go with a 224, why not go with it on XE-R lobes? That way you have a .581 lift instead of a .563 or whatever the smaller lift is.

Don't know what all these F and MS cams and catchy marketing names are. Just tell me the specs to impress me all you shops. Don't like these huge cams guys are running on the street. 228 single pattern is a good all around street cam for a 346. I really liked the old MMS 229, but of course they are long gone.

Well, almost all the people who have run it swear that the G5X2 would be excellent for your goals. You can look up its specs at www.lgmotorsports.com if you really need to.

ill tell u from what u listed ur not going to like the torquer 2. mine peaks at around 6300 rpms but the plus is u have over 300 ft/lbs at about 2800-3000.

at 3k rpms im just around 200hp/330tq it doesnt really GET MOVING til like 4000+ but then its a different story

u know if u get a cam like that u lose low end for top end... so...
