APE changed gears, installed motor, clutch, trannt, Torque Tube, carrier ...etc.
BTW, your tranny is holding up well so far....but Im only 150 miles in I sold that turbo kit just after we installed the beautiful box of good stuff we bought from ya.
I just laughed when I came across the video...on my camera, that my friend had borrowed.... never knew the video existed. Hated to waste it, so I posted it.
They built 3 motors for this car in 3 months, as the 1st two lost oil pressure in a matter of days... it just took a few weeks for the rest of their handiwork to fall apart.
The 408 in my TA on the other hand, is very much alive and well.

Just for the record I did not assemble a single Corvette gear for APE. I did some 9 inch and 12 bolt assemblies and some gear swaps a few months before their demise. I can bet DTS did the gear swap but it would be APE's fault for the lack of oil.
I did watch your video and I am in awe! That thing should have locked up on the way home!

This was built for North / South 2004...The car was complete 2 hours before we had to get on the road...from APE, to N/S. We elected to go home as only one of the 2 cars we shipped them was complete... both behind schedule. On the way home we found a track... pulled in, lost oil pressure on 2nd run. 2 motors later the pressure held. Blem blocks with oversize cam bearings are an issue.
The car did end up running low 10's eventually... and the clutch always slipped... no matter which one we tried back then. It was sold to a member on CF for 25k... within 12 months of dumping 25k+ into it.
