Default Can I weld on my engine bay??? Please help asap

Hey, I'm about the weld the hood stop back on my Camaro and I unhooked the battery but I just want to make sure I won't damage any electronics while welding. Thanks, Steve.

Cover up anything you think you will damage.

I am petty sure he was are asking about electrical welding. Are you using MIG or TIG? MIG is low frequency and less likely to damage anything. Advice I received in another thread was to keep the ground clamp very close to your weld so that current flow does not travel far through the car. I would disconnect the battery cables.

Ok, I already did it. I just removed the battery completely so no sparks would explode it, lol. Everything's good.
