WTB: F-body driveshaft- poor condition OK
I am looking to buy a DS for my Supra conversion as the length appears to be very close to the stock F-body shaft.
I will have to replace the u-joints (3R/S44 to 1310 and 1330) and yoke (TKO) (already have these), so all I am looking for is the bare shaft or a shaft with bad u-joints and/or no yoke. The tube itself must be straight and undamaged.
What I need to confirm is the length of the center openings for the u-joints front to rear, i.e. 41.0", 41.5", 41.75", etc.
Obviously I can't pay top $ for this, but if you have something like this around I may be able to take it off your hands. Please let me know an asking price, as I have upset people with offers in the past . No preference on steel or aluminum, but I have learned the 3rd gen 1LE shaft used the same combo u-joint that I need!

I had several PMs on this, I have an offer on an '02 alum DS for now, will get back to you if this falls through.
I don't think the length is different for alum vs. steel, but can you measure the center of the u-joint opening to the center of the rear u-joint opening?
