Default 4l60e problem?

my trans in my 96 formula is having some problems

It shifts into all gears under normal driving conditions.
Only once I go full throttle. it pulls for a second then stops pulling and revs up and bounces off the rev limiter.

I am lost as to what the problem is

I'm not sure but I think there maybe some internal problems in my radiator as far as the coolant mixing with the transfluid inside the radiator.

I can't think of anything else that maybe wrong.

Thanks

When you check your fluid does it look like a strawberry milkshake? If this is the case your unit needs to be gone through asap. The water is attacking the gaskets and friction material. Good luck Vince.

What does your fluid look like? If it looks like I stated above the unit is already damaged and needs to be freshened up.
