Frank , whats up man.....Id try the new 200cc Term. heads that TSP came out with, but that cam is going to match up with alot of heads out know.....For the money though, you cant beat the numbers "BLACKREDSS" up top is putting down with his heads. Give TSP a call and theyd suggest to you waht would be best for your setup.

I'm having a set of stock 243 heads installed with a torquer V2 in the very near future. Does everyone recommend milling the heads or just using a thinner head gasket? Is one better than the other? I've heard that the quench is usually better with a thinner gasket...or was it the other way around. I've been told that milling the 243's .030" will give me approx 11:1 compression on my LS1....and combined with the torquer I'll have less than an 8:1 DCR which should be fine for pump gas. I'd just like to know the best option (gaskets vs milling) so I can start planning accordingly.

Sounds like a pretty mean combo....I'm thinking the torquer 2 sounds like a great cam for drivability and power.

Stang-Slayer,
I just installed the Torquer2 with 243s (milled .015) in my 2000 Silverado 408ci. It sounds absolutely awesome! (fired it up last night for the first time after fixing an oil pressure problem). My compression SCR is 10.3:1, DCR is right at 8:1. No flycutting or PTV problems.

Stroker, how did you figure out that DCR? I'm going with 243's milled .015 also...and something similar to the torquer 2....I'd like to keep it drivable, with no flycutting and running "easily" on pump gas.

I have a Torquer...do they make a v3??? Its the latest version...I do know stuff about my car I just had a big grain fart.
I made 416Rwhp in the winter...then added TSP stg 2 ls6 heads and only gained 11 horsepower same dyno same tuner, but it was in the summer this time. Do you think I should re-tune in the cold and add true duals??? Think I can make more power?
If not I'm selling my heads and switching to the Terminator heads.
