Default stroked turbo setup, why 6.0L block?

i read alot of people chose the 6.0L block instead of the 5.7 aluminum block?

is there an advantage? is the extra weight worth the added strength of iron vs aluminum?

just curious.

If an aluminum block is prepped correctly, it will last and can possibly make some big power. A properly prepped iron block will handle at least a little more due to the rigidity of iron vs. aluminum.

Somewhere around 700rwhp or higher, some shops prefer the iron blocks since the aluminum blocks can experience some expansion due to heat.
