Default How big can I go with stock gears?

This winter I will probably be doing a h/c setup on my 2000 FRC M6. Im going to have long tubes, fast 90/90, probably going with the Prc ls6 heads. I was leaning toward the MS3 cam, but it looks like that cam is very peaky at high rpm and not good for stock gears. So what is the biggest cam I should put in my car with stock gears. I was thinking something like the tourquer V2, but I might be leaving a lot on the table with a set up like that. I would like to be able to drive on the highway with 6th gear still. My car is used as a recreational car, occasional street racing, and will be brought to the track a few times a year.
